Alabama requires hunter education for anyone born on/after Aug 1, 1977.

What you're asking to do
Alabama licenses run the license year — Sept 1 to Aug 31, expiring Aug 31. Defaults to the upcoming license year; choose “Custom” for a specific date or trip.
The vehicle you'll bring
So the landowner knows exactly what to expect parked on their property.
Family co-signer *
At least one family member is required. A parent, spouse, guardian, or next of kin adds their contact info here, gets a text link, and signs on their phone first — the request only reaches the landowner once they've signed.
Reference / voucher (optional)
Someone who isn't family but will vouch for the hunter's character — a coach, pastor, employer, or a family friend (this is the "I've known this family for years" endorsement). They get a text link and sign a short endorsement before the landowner sees it, right alongside the family.
